Took a short break to finish my dissertation
Focused time from Sep 2020 to Jan 2021 to wrap up writing — the most productive “break” I’ve ever taken.
Cleared the calendar to finish the dissertation from September 2020 through January 2021.
In hindsight, deciding to write two conference papers that year probably didn’t speed things up. Powered by espresso and very polite Reviewer‑2 feedback.
